摘要:This article proposes to analyze the political tactics used in official universities and their relation to the promotion to managerial posts. Political behavior is a complex issue, and in the case of groups that attempt to run the administration of universities many conflicts arise because of the differences between them. Managers in organizations have to have a bit of political wisdom, which is why this research seeks to know if the following political tactics (Attack others, Halage others, association with people, create obligations) are used by people who hold management positions at the University of Los Andes - Táchira and thus determine the perceptions that the university community has about these political tactics, for this was applied a contentive instrument of sixteen (16) questions with a scale of Likert to teachers full time and exclusive dedication of the University of Los Andes - Táchira, determining that most consider political tactics as tools used to occupy managerial positions in the campus.
