摘要：This paper gives a survey on the state of the art in the field of applying semantic web technologies in typical e-science applications. It makes a overview on the applications from a handful of science communities including chemistry, earth science, energy, life science and health care, scientific publishing and so forth. Analysis is given to summarize the trends and future directions.
