摘要：Este estudo teve como objetivo identificar os sentimentos expressos por professores universitários nos últimos anos da profissão, as atitudes em face idéia da aposentadoria e a desvinculação das responsabilidades assumidas. A amostra foi constituída de 8 professores de Educação Física do sexo masculino. Quanto ao processo de coleta de informações foi realizada a entrevista semi-estruturada. Nos depoimentos foi identificado nos professores um sentimento de satisfação em relação à sua carreira. Nos últimos anos que antecederam a aposentadoria, a postura inicial dos professores ficou voltada à continuidade da profissão; este aspecto, porém, não foi assumido por todos professores, dessa forma alguns se depararam com a aposentadoria sem ter pensado no que fazer após o afastamento legal da função universitária.
其他摘要：This study had as a main point to identify the University teachers feelings expressed in their last years of work. The attitudes the idea of retirement and the disconnect of the responsibility that they’re use to. The research was made with eight male Physical Education teachers. The information process was made half-structure interview. Teachers had showed in their depositions satisfaction feelings about their career. Soon teachers continued working and studying but there are some teachers that retired themselves without thinking in what to do after their legal University occupation disconnection.
