摘要：During the recent years, the semantic technologysuch as ontology based representation of metadata hasinfluenced the research, in the area of educational softwarefor accessing, searching and structuring of e-learningcontents to provide personalized, adaptive and contextaware delivery of learning content. In this paper, we presentontology-based resource description metadata model whichis particularly useful for context-aware adaptive e-learningsituation. First, we mentioned some of the features to beconsidered in developing resource description ontology thenproposed an ontology called Context-aware AdaptiveLearning Resource Ontology (CALRO) that is suitable fordelivery of content according to learner contextualinformation such as learner’s learning style andcharacteristics of the learning device. Finally, we discuss theconcerned adaptation approach and its workflow behavior.
