摘要:Quality education does not occur miraculously but can be achieved through continuous improvement efforts by the stakeholders in the education enterprise. The aim of this paper is to discuss what can be done to improve internal quality assurance practices within Nigerian public universities. It starts by examining the concept of quality and quality assurance. Following this is the discussion on the rationale for the concern for quality in the public universities. The paper ends with an examination of critical issues that need to be addressed internally in order assure quality in the educative process.
