摘要：No cenário de mudanças globais, o conhecimento e a informação são diferenciais competitivos já amplamente reconhecidos pelas organizações. Aspectos que envolvem o gerenciamento de sistemas de informações para negócios são muito discutidos na literatura. Neste artigo, pretende-se abordar preliminarmente o conceito de informação para negócio, gestão de informação e política informacional. Reflete-se sobre a relação entre a necessidade de qualificar o processo de gestão da informação e a inferência das políticas de informação. O objetivo é a inserção de uma discussão a respeito da influência da política de informação no gerenciamento informacional. Procura-se caracterizar o contexto empresarial e o papel da informação, proporcionando uma reflexão sobre a mediação do profissional da informação nesse contexto. Abstract: In the setting of global changes, the knowledge and the information are differential competitive already broadly recognized by the organizations. Aspects that involve the information systems management for business are broadly discussed in the literature. In this article intends to approach preliminaryly the concept of information for business, management of information and political information. Seeking reflect about the relation between the need of qualify the trial of management of the information and to influence of the information politics. The objective is the insertion of an argument as to the influence of the information politics in the information management. It seeks the business context be characterized, and the paper of the information, providing a reflection about the mediation of the information professional in that context.
