摘要：A inovação aberta ainda é, depois de uma década, um tema emergente na literatura e, por isso, há algumas lacunas a serem exploradas. Duas dessas lacunas são a relação entre inovação aberta e empreendedorismo e inovação aberta em pequenas e médias empresas (PME), porque a maioria dos estudos se concentra em grandes empresas. A questão deste estudo é: o que os estudos de caso relatam em relação a inovação aberta em startups ou PME que estarão relacionadas com a orientação empresarial? Nosso estudo é uma meta-síntese de estudos de caso qualitativos seguindo as etapas apresentadas por Hoon (2013). Uma teoria foi desenvolvida e apresentada considerando as dimensões de orientação empresarial e as atividades de inovação abertas. Na seção final, foram apresentadas limitações e sugestões relacionadas a trabalhos futuros.
其他摘要：Open innovation is still after a decade an emergent topic in literature and, because of this, there are few gaps to be explored. Two of these gaps are the relationship between open innovation and entrepreneurship and open innovation in small and medium enterprises (SMEs), because most studies focus on large enterprises. Our research question in this study is: what do case studies report in terms of open innovation in start-ups or SMEs that would be related to entrepreneurial orientation? Our study is a meta-synthesis of qualitative case studies following the stages presented by Hoon (2013). A theory was developed and presented considering the entrepreneurial orientation dimensions and open innovation activities. In the concluding section, limitations and suggestions in terms of future works were presented.
