摘要：This article aims at analyzing opportunities and present contributions to sustainability in construction.Developed based on bibliographic research on environmental responsibility and the analysis of answers ofthe questionnaire, for the data collection in field research. It is a closed questionnaire with objective questionswhose filling was made during interviews with managers of 16 companies building. The population studiedwas composed of companies representative of the construction industry. The statistical method used to collectdata was the method of sampling, and the criterion adopted for the selection of samples was the rationalchoice. From the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data were identified contributions to sustainability,which can be implemented by companies operating in construction.↓Este artigo tem como objetivo geral analisar oportunidades e apresentar contribuições para a sustentabilidade na construção civil. Desenvolvido com base em pesquisa bibliográfica sobre responsabilidade socioambiental e a análise das respostas de questionário, destinado à coleta de dados na pesquisa de campo. Trata-se de questionário fechado, com perguntas objetivas, cujo preenchimento foi efetuado durante entrevistas com dirigentes de 16 empresas construtoras. A população pesquisada foi composta de empresas representativas do setor da Construção Civil. O método estatístico utilizado para a coleta de dados foi o Método da Amostragem, e o critério adotado para a seleção de amostras foi o da Escolha Racional. A partir da análise qualitativa e quantitativa dos dados, foram identificadas contribuições para a sustentabilidade, que podem ser implementadas por empresas que atuam na construção civil.
