摘要：Information technologies (ITs), used in learning, make influence on the process of learning and change it providing with new opportunities and forms. When describing modern learning, different definitions such as traditional, virtual, distance and e-learning are used. The meaning of these terms is not clearly defined; therefore, they are sometimes used as synonyms, or the same identical phenomena are described as different concepts. This paper analyses the influence of ITs on the process of learning, defines different ways of learning based on the aspect of ITs usage, and justifies the usage of the definitions.
