摘要：O artigo apresenta uma análise das mudanças socioeconômicas, produtivas e socioambientais vinculados a cadeia de resíduos tendo como base as experiências e trabalhos realizados, através de um projeto de extensão, entre a Incubadora Tecnológica de Cooperativas Populares da Universidade Federal de São João Del Rei e as associações e cooperativas de catadores de materiais recicláveis da mesorregião do Campo das Vertentes em Minas Gerais para desenvolvimento de uma rede solidária de alianças estratégicas dos catadores de materiais recicláveis. Esse projeto de extensão objetiva aumentar a competitividade desses negócios no mercado, através do aumento da produção e produtividade dos catadores de forma sustentável, estratégica e solidária. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar e analisar as ações dessa experiência através de procedimentos metodológicos como pesquisa bibliográfica, documental, pesquisa ação, dentre outros. O projeto ainda se encontra em desenvolvimento, mas já foram possíveis alguns resultados e considerações como a realizações de eventos com os catadores, tomadas de decisões e ações coletivas junto a cadeia de resíduos. A consolidação dessas alianças é o que permitirá a construção de uma rede solidária de informações. Será uma ferramenta estratégica para fortalecimento das associações da região no âmbito da cadeia produtiva reversa de pós-consumo, para aumento da produção e produtividade de material reciclado e apontamento de caminhos para a superação de dificuldades que os empreendimentos populares da economia solidária.↓The paper presents an analysis of socioeconomic changes, productive and socio-bound waste stream based onthe experiences and work done through an extension project between the Technological Incubator of Popular Cooperativesof the Federal University of São João del Rei and the associations and cooperatives of recyclable material collectors of themiddle region of the field slopes in Minas Gerais for joint development of a network of strategic alliances of recyclablematerial collectors. This extension project aims to increase the competitiveness of business in the market by increasingproduction and productivity of pickers sustainable, strategic and supportive. This paper aims to present and analyze theactions of that experience through methodological procedures as literature, documentary, action research, among others.The project is still in development, but some results have been possible and considerations such as the realization of eventswith the collectors, decision making and collective actions along the chain of waste. The consolidation of these alliances isto enable the construction of a solidarity network of information. It will be a strategic tool for strengthening the region ofassociations within the reverse supply chain post-consumption, to increase production and productivity of recycled materialand pointing ways to overcome difficulties that undertakings popular solidarity economy.
