摘要：Resumen: En esta investigación abordaremos la figura del bachiller Juan Escribano, regente de griego en el Colegio Trilingüe de la Universidad de Salamanca, la cual no ha sido objeto de un estudio pormenorizado a pesar de su importancia para el helenismo durante la segunda mitad del siglo XVI. Escribano sobresalió por sus labores docentes y por su entrega hacia el Trilingüe, institución en la que trabajó y vivió gran parte de su vida. Sin embargo, pesar de su dedicación, la convivencia en el Colegio fue difícil debido al mal comportamiento de los colegiales y a la gestión negligente de la mayoría de sus vicerrectores, con los que el helenista mantuvo, casi siempre, una tensa relación. Abstract: This paper aims to address the figure of bachelor Juan Escribano, professor of Greek at the Trilingual College of the University of Salamanca. Despite its importance to Hellenism during the second half of the 16th century, he has not been the subject of a detailed research. Escribano excelled in their teaching and their devotion to the Trilingual, institution where he worked and lived more than half of his life. However, living in the school was difficult, due to the bad be havior of College students and negligent management of most of its vice presidents, with whom Juan Escribano maintained a tense relationship many times.
