摘要:The text reflects on the principle of the “democratic management of public education”, established in the Brazilian Federal Constitution, verifying how the materialization of this principle occurs in state legislations. For this, it analyzes the laws on the process of choosing the position of school manager in the state public networks of the 26 Brazilian states and the Federal District (considering their equivalent status as federated entity), identifying relations between legislations, the choice of the manager and the Materiality of the principle of democratic management of public.
