摘要：This article concerns the relations between self-concepts and concepts of significant others and, health related quality of life (HRQoL) in adolescents from different backgrounds. It was introduced that both constructs highlighted their importance to adolescents health status and, with a sample of 1.082 adolescents who answered two instruments aimed at each of these constructs, the Family Identification Test (FIT) and KIDSCREEN-27, respectively, it was sought to an analysis model to answer the research questions. In the first part, the factor structure of the instruments through confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was investigated in order to confirm the factor structure of the two constructs. In the second part, a Structural Model through causal pathways between the latent variables and analysis of their significance through Z tests to critical ratios was developed. The reported evidence supports the conclusions that identity processes experienced by adolescents especially, the actual self-concept, has a significant impact on their health and wellbeing.
