摘要:Abstract The aim of the study was to investigate the suppression effect of social awareness in the self-concealment and adolescents’ life satisfaction relationship. Data were collected with the Satisfaction with Life Scale, Social Awareness Scale which is a sub-scale of The Tromso Social Intelligence Scale, and Self-concealment Scale, which were completed by 368 adolescents who age range is 12–16. Regression analysis demonstrated that social awareness has a suppression effect in the self-concealment and life satisfaction relationship. Results showed that self-concealment was negatively related to life satisfaction, but social awareness was positively related to both self-concealment and life satisfaction. The relationship between self-concealment and life satisfaction increases when social awareness was added to the regression analysis.
