摘要：Resumo: O processo de constituição da antropologia moderna será marcado por certa concepção e prática de educação cuja importância e significado tentamos destacar nesse breve ensaio. A experiência antropológica de Franz Boas (1858-1942), considerado fundador da tradição norte-americana da antropologia cultural na primeira metade do século XX é exemplar. Boas reuniu em torno de si um conjunto de pessoas, instituições e representações que marcaram indelevelmente a história da antropologia moderna desde então. O objetivo é apresentar algumas contribuições de Boas à luz de sua trajetória intelectual-pedagógica e de suas proposições teórico-metodológicas acerca da educação tendo como foco o campo, o museu e a escola.
其他摘要：Abstract: The modern anthropology formation process will be recognized for certain conception and practice of education, its importance and meaning will be emphasized in this brief essay. Franz Boas (1858-1942), known as a founder of the North American tradition of Cultural Anthropology in the first half of the twentieth century, is famous for his exemplary anthropologic experience. Boas gathered around him a group of people, institutions and representations which permanently, and profoundly influenced the history of modern anthropology. This article aims to introduce some of Boas’ contributions in light of his intellectual, and pedagogical trajectory, as well his theoretical, and methodological propositions focusing on the field, the museum and the school.
