摘要：En el contexto dinámico e incierto donde hoy se desarrollan las universidades existen fenómenos de diferentes tipos e intensidad que, sin dudas, repercuten en su sistema de gestión; para enfrentarlos, se ha empezado a utilizar la dirección estratégica como una herramienta efectiva. La naturaleza de tales fenómenos hace que estas instituciones se sometan al impacto de un conjunto de riesgos que afectan su rumbo institucional. El objetivo de este artículo es resaltar la contribución que hace la gestión de riesgos a la dirección estratégica en las universidades y, por tanto, al mejoramiento del sistema de gestión institucional. Para ello, se presenta una descripción de algunos fundamentos y características de la dirección estratégica y la gestión de riesgos, y se proponen ciertas áreas de análisis que favorecen la integración de ambos enfoques.
其他摘要：In the dynamic and uncertain context in which universities develop themselves, there are phenomena of different types and intensity which, no doubt, influence their management system. In order to face them, the strategic guidance is being used as an effective tool. The nature of such phenomena makes institutions to submit themselves to an impact of a set of risks that affect their institutional path. The present article aims at highlighting the contribution of risks' management to the strategic guidance in universities, and, thus, to the improvement of the institutional management. Hence, a description of several bases and characteristics of the strategic guidance and the management of risks are presented, and different fields of analysis that favor the integration of both approaches are suggested.
