摘要：Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a vulnerabilidade de jovens ao consumo de álcool e tabaco e suas implicações para outras vulnerabilidades. A amostra foi constituída de 8429 jovens, entre 14 e 20 anos de idade (M=16; DP=1,48), estudantes do ensino médio de escolas públicas do Estado da Paraíba, sendo 62% do sexo feminino. Foi utilizado um questionário estruturado com 23 questões, cujos dados foram analisados através de estatística descritiva uni e bivariada. O uso de álcool e o tabaco estiveram associados a comportamentos relacionados ao uso de preservativo, ao suicídio, bem como influenciou na avaliação acerca da vida e da saúde. Percebe-se que os jovens mostraram-se vulneráveis ao uso de álcool e tabaco, sendo a percepção positiva acerca dessas substâncias um aspecto motivador para o consumo, tornando-os mais suscetíveis a outras vulnerabilidades.
其他摘要：This study aimed at analyzing the vulnerability of young at the consumption of alcohol and tobacco, as well as the implications of that consumption in others vulnerabilities. The sample was constituted by 8429 students from public high school in Paraiba, of whom 5212 (61,8%) were females, with ages between 14 e 20 years old (M=16; DP=1,48). It was used a structured self-administered questionnaire containing 23 questions. The results were analyzed using descriptive, univariate and bivariate statistics. The use of alcohol and tobacco was associated with behaviors related to the use of condom, suicide, as well as the influence in the evaluation about life and health. It was noticed that the young have shown themselves vulnerable to alcohol, and tobacco, with positive perceptions about these substances, a motivating aspect for consumption, making them more susceptible to other vulnerabilities.
