摘要：Recentes estudos na área da psicologia têm tentado responder a importantes questões que se encontravam pendentes. Neste processo de compreender melhor o desenvolvimento humano como indissociável do contexto físico e sociocultural, têm sido integradas novas possibilidades de organização, de articulação de conceitos, métodos de análise e enfoques direcionados para certos aspectos que envolvem o estudo do comportamento humano. É de grande importância que o pesquisador considere o ambiente em que está inserido seu objeto de pesquisa e busque uma compreensão da relação deste com o desenvolvimento humano. Nesse sentido, conclui-se que a Psicologia Ambiental tem papel relevante para atingir tal objetivo.
其他摘要：Recent studies in the area of psychology have attempted to answer some important pending questions. This process has led to a better understanding of human development when it is viewed as being inseparable from the physical and sociocultural context. It has integrated new possibilities of organization, articulation of concepts and methods of analysis, and focus has become more specifically directed towards certain aspects that involve the study of human behavior. It is of great importance for the researcher to consider the environment that circumscribes the object of research and to seek an understanding of its relationship with human development. Environmental psychology can therefore have a relevant role in the achievement of this aim.
