  • 摘要:The rise of interactive multimedia content creation apps sustained in Software as a Service (SaaS) model offers a wide range of possibilities for multimedia developers. This technological and business model makes these tools very affordable, making them the best alternative for the creation of open educational resources (OER). This article analyzes multimedia creation applications ( Atavist, Piktochart, Tiki-toki, Genially and Thinglink) assessing aspects of accessibility, usability and portability. It also provides examples of OER in these formats. The main conclusion indicates the importance of the multimedia designer for the elaboration of multimedia educational content. Also how to incorporate a multimedia designer defines a new methodology of production of higher quality. Its function facilitates the process of adapting instructional design and materials created by teachers and optimizes the creation ofOERs and their use, through virtual platforms, by students.
