摘要：Although both research and real historical events attest to the power of social media in facilitating social change, recent writers challenge the effectiveness of such media, at least in isolation of other communicative efforts at change. Here, we present three narratives, as outsiders to the current Brazilian social and economic situation, of interactions in Brazil and with Brazilians about social reform efforts in their own country. We hope that these naïve reflections will lead to future discussions of effective everyday efforts at social change.
