  • 摘要:HIV/AIDS is one of the life threaten diseases in the society today, which has resulted into loss of many lives in the world. Despite the deadly nature of the disease and the availability of effective treatment, most people still do not know their HIV status, largely because of lack of privacy, stigmatization and discrimination that exist in the community. To bridge these gaps identified, an adaptive neuro-fuzzy Inference system is efficiently developed to diagnose and manage patients by placing them into appropriate clinical stages as recommended by the World Health organization (WHO) and prescribing to them the life-saving Antiretroviral drugs through a standardized set of rules that will enable efficient use of scarce resources, encourage testing and lead to overall better treatment outcome for patients.
