摘要：O presente artigo analisa, sucintamente, a construção histórica da concepção de infância, tendo em vista a situação jurídica atual dos menores sob a perspectiva da proteção integral de direitos em um cenário tecnológico, globalizado e capitalista, que fomenta o amadurecimento precoce de crianças e adolescentes. Duas questões permeiam o estudo: seria a infância uma criação ou uma descoberta do homem? Quais as consequências da interferência tecnológica na vida dos infantes? Baseando-se nos ensinamentos de Neil Postman, tem-se que a infância não é um fenômeno de predisposição genética, mas sim uma concepção de vida em sociedade, fruto das mudanças históricas no universo do homem social. Sobre a interferência tecnológica, embora questão embrionária, já se verifica o amadurecimento precoce das crianças e adolescentes devido à velocidade com que a informação sem filtros circula, aliada, ainda, à influência negativa da mídia consumista que, utilizando-se da tecnologia, adentra no ambiente infantil, persuadindo-os.
其他摘要：This article briefly analyzes the historical construction of the concept of childhood in view of the current legal situation of children under the perspective of full protection of rights in a globalized and capitalistic technological scenario that fosters the early maturation of children and adolescents. Two questions permeate the study: would childhood be a creation or a discovery of man? What are the consequences of technological interference in the lives of infants? Based on the teachings of Neil Postman, it is known that childhood is not a phenomenon of genetic predisposition, but a conception of life in society, fruit of the historical changes in the universe of the social man. Regarding technological interference, although an embryonic issue, there is already an early maturation of children and adolescents due to the speed with which information without filters circulates, allied to the negative influence of the consumer media that, using technology, Children’s environment by persuading them.
