摘要：O texto apresenta as reflexões de Joan Fontcuberta (2010), Roland Barthes (1984), Siegfried Kracauer (2008), Eugenio Bucci (2008) e Mário Quintana (1983) sobre determinadas fotografias de família, ajudando a tencionar as relações entre tempo e espaço, vida e morte, e entre permanência e impermanência das imagens. O objetivo é entender como os processos de memória desencadeados por tais fotografias apontam para a mesma direção: a de que as imagens não congelam o tempo, mas o carregam em um fl xo orientado tanto para um passado quanto para o futuro. The purpose is to understand how memory processes triggered by such photographs lead to the same direction: that it does not freeze time, but carries a fl ow oriented to both past and future.
