摘要:In the present work we investigated the communication processes and collective action frameworks in the Global Ecovillage Movement. From the Social Mediation theory we analyzed (1) the websites, (2) documents elaborated in the movement and (3) interviews with the participants. The results show a contemporary global movement that, supported by the Internet, builds a global project of social change, generates collective identity and promotes transformative social action. A movement that takes advantage of the technologies of information and communication as a means of communication and expression of their demands
