摘要：O estudo tem como objetivo principal empreender um esforço metodológico de caráter exploratório, a fim de contribuir com as discussões a respeito da atual dinâmica experimentada pelos os pequenos municípios do Sudeste brasileiro, a partir dos dados disponíveis no Censo Demográfico de 2000 e 2010. Considera-se que as variáveis relacionadas à dinâmica demográfica, principalmente no que tange aos comportamentos de migração interna podem indicar a existência de novas tendências econômicas, sociais e culturais nestas localidades. Neste trabalho, apresenta-se uma breve discussão teórica sobre as pequenas cidades e uma proposta metodológica baseada em quatro categorias resultantes da correlação entre os saldos migratórios e as taxas de crescimento dos pequenos municípios do Sudeste. Espera-se que tais categorias possam reforçar a compreensão da dinâmica em análise.
其他摘要：The study has as main objective to undertake a methodological effort of exploratory character, in order to contribute to the discussions about the current dynamics experienced by the small municipalities of southeastern Brazil, from the data available from the Census of 2000 and 2010. It is considered that the variables related to demographic dynamics, especially with regard to internal migration behaviors may indicate the existence of new economic, social and cultural trends in these localities. In this paper, presents a brief theoretical discussion about the small towns and a methodological approach based on four categories resulting from the correlation between migratory balances and growth rates of small municipalities in the Southeast. It is expected that such categories can enhance the understanding of the dynamics in analysis.
