其他摘要：The book Tripmaster Monkey: His Fake Book (TM) is published as a novel, which is Kingston’s first true novel during her writing career. There are many remarkable writing techniques in her trilogy, such as, language usage, narrative perspectives, plot narration and other diverse narrative styles. In this thesis, it aims to focus on one of the most attractive features-its language usage in TM, especially on the names of its title and protagonist which strikingly embodies the significance of readers’ participation and the uncertainty of the language in a postmodern fiction.
