This study tries to clarify the Sanlun (三論) scholar Jizang's thoguht regarding Pure Land ideas. In particular it considers the Wuliangshou visualization (無量寿観), and clarifies its relation to the repentance of the individual beyond the idea of acquisition (無所得人懺悔).
