摘要：The present article, it’s described, in theoretically way, the topicality of the binomial arteducation orientation to one of the groups that more attention requires in the 21st century society: people with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, within the range designated as Third Age. Therefore, several subjects such as Arts Education, Dementias and Plastic and Visual Arts are articulated, according to the analysis of the methods used by the museum scopes. In addition to this, we attend to the design and development of the programs displayed by them, with special consideration to the psychological therapy they offered. As well as the assignment of the appropriated materials to the correct organization of the creative activities, which are destined to a collaborative participation, whereof objective is the social inclusion of the indicated group. Finally, we will consider the MoMA of New York case as model of functioning, special sensitivity to the subject treated and optimal adaptive application of its program to the elderlies with Dementia.
