摘要:This study aimed to identify the relationship among depression, stress and the number of stressors faced by pregnant teenagers under different conditions of marital status. This was a non-experimental, cross-sectional and exploratory study. The sample consisted of 82 first-time pregnant teenagers, who responded to the assessment instruments: Beck Depression Inventory, Perceived Stress Scale and Life Events Questionnaire. Using structural equation models we found that the condition of marital status, pregnancy type, and stressors related to finances, children and social situations are factors that explain 64% of the variance in stress and 71% for depression in first-time pregnant teenagers.
