标题:Representaciones sobre el maltrato entre iguales en niñas y niños escolarizados de 9, 11 y 13 años de nivel socioeconómico alto y bajo de la ciudad de Barranquilla (Colombia)
摘要:The present investigation describes the representations about bullying of 80 nine, eleven and thirteen year-old boys and girls, belonging to high and low social-economic levels from the city of Barranquilla, based on Piaget's genetic-constructivist view. Using the Sean-BulIying instrument (Almeida, Del Barrio, Márques & Van der Meulen, 2001), and with the help of a semi-structured clinical interview, the ideas of children about the followi.ng issues of bullying were explored: representation of the story, emotional attribution and coping strategies. Once the data was collected, a descriptive analysis of these, according to pre-established categories, took place, followed by a quantitative study (using the Chi squared of independence and distributions of percentage) of the different answer categories taking in consideration age, gender and social-economical levels. A development progress of the organization and structure of children's representations was found, although the environment influences their rhythm. Considering gender, there were no differences found between boys and girls in the development of their representations, however, there were slight differences involving their emotional attribution and coping strategies.
