摘要:The aim of the research was to know the reliability and validity of the AUDIT (Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test) (Saunders, Aasland, Babor, de la Fuente & Grant, 1993) in students of medicine at Bogota, Colombia. A quantitative study was designed which participated a non probabilistic sample of 256 students over 18 years old (mean=21.8; SD=2.8), and 60.5% were female. The coefficient alpha, coefficient omega and dimensionality (confirmatory factor analysis) were estimated. The authors found that Cronbach alpha was 0.792, and McDonald omega, 0.878. It was retained two dimensions that explicated 49.4% of the total variance. It is concluded that in this group of university students, the AUDIT shows high reliability, and is valid for identifying alcohol use disorders. There are needed researches which explore AUDIT performance compares with the gold standard.
