摘要:In 2015, the text of the Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) was made available to the public. Its goal is to enable a redesign for the basic education curriculum. With the Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais prerogative, the common base should prioritize the intertextuality between the curricular components and the right to learning as well as the development of the student. Due to the importance of the redefinition of the direction of education in the country and for the beginner and continuing teacher, the research, which fits into the area of applied linguistics, analyzes one aspect of the teaching of portuguese language in the Official Document: the orality. In this analysis, we evince the spoken language mode and the treatment given to it in the BNCC. The first results showed that the document presents an imbalance in the learning objectives proposition of oral and writing modes, as well as in the way they are proposed, demonstrating the possible predilection of the Base for teaching one aspect at the expense of another.
