摘要:This article categorizes and analyzes the places where contact improvisation (CI) is danced in Spain between the years 2010 and 2015. Starting from the idea that space is not only constructed, but in turn defines bodies and ideologies in concurrence with different practices, we identify some directions, confluences or tensions that are established between the corporal, artistic, educational and therapeutics techniques to which the CI dance is rooted. Both, content analysis and fieldwork indicate an expansion in the number and category of places for the practice of CI in Spain; we highlight, in this regard, the increase of residential rural spaces along with a wide range of urban spaces of dance, interdisciplinary and multipurpose. These trends in the use of various spaces for CI inform about the definition and about the development of a broad spectrum of choreographic tendencies and social movements. CI shares aesthetic, ethical or educational principles, including collective management.
