标题：Da conservação da biodiversidade às estratégias de poder: a implementação do Novo Código Florestal brasileiro na Amazônia a partir de duas abordagens teóricas
摘要：This article discusses the new Brazilian Forest Code as a symbol of the crisis in the society / nature relationship. To this end, it uses the results of field research on the process of implementing the new Code in the portion of the Amazon Rainforest inside the state of Pará, and is based on two theoretical approaches – Political Ecology and Conservation Biology – seeking an ontology of the socio-environmental problem. The study revealed a set of interrelated political strategies used by socially influential groups and endorsed by the reworking of the Code. These strategies are materialized in the implementation process, resulting in environmental changes and in an evident appropriation of the collective natural resources by private entities.
