摘要：En este trabajo proponemos la revisión de algunos aspectos teóricos sobre un tipo de actos valorativos como los ‘cumplidos’ en el español peninsular. Incidiremos en cuestiones terminológicas como la delimitación del ‘cumplido’ frente al ‘halago’: si bien ambos términos están vigentes no solo en el español peninsular —a cuyo análisis restringimos nuestro estudio—, sino también en el ámbito hispano en general, se suelen emplear casi como sinónimos. Además, centraremos nuestro interés inicialmente en la revisión de las funciones que desempeñan este tipo de actos valorativos, bien como actos espontáneos cuya finalidad no es otra que mostrar solidaridad y aprecio, o bien como aquellos que trascienden la mera valoración espontánea y desinteresada del interlocutor, e incluso como actos valorativos propios de un tipo de cortesía normativa casi exigidos en determinadas situaciones. Por otra parte, pasaremos revista a los cumplidos como actos de habla ‘marcados’ (tanto positiva como negativamente) o ‘no marcados’ desde el punto de vista de la cortesía.
其他摘要：In this paper we will review some of the theoretical aspects of a specific type of evaluative act, the ‘compliment’ in Peninsular Spanish. We will bring into focus some terminological is - sues such as the difference between ‘cumplidos’ (‘compliment’) and ‘halagos’ (‘flattery’): even though both terms are currently in use, not only in Peninsular Spanish —field of our study— but also in the Hispanic world in general, they are used almost interchangeably. Furthermore, we will analyse the roles compliments play, either as spontaneous acts whose purpose is just showing solidarity and affection, or as those that go beyond spontaneous and disinterested evaluations of the other person, or even as those that could be considered a type of norma - tive politeness required by certain situations. In addition, we will review compliments as acts of speech that are ‘marked’ (both positively and negatively) or ‘unmarked’ from the point of view of politeness.
