摘要：En este trabao se plantean diferentes líneas de evidencia sobre la singularidad de la parcialidad de Santa María la Redonda es decir, el antiguo Cuepopan-Tlaquechiuhca en el desarrollo cultural prehispánico de la ciudad de México. Se pone énfasis en la importancia crucial que tuvo durante el enfrentamiento entre Tenochtitlan y Tlatelolco, centros mexicas, en - . Tras la victoria de los tenochcas, esta fraccin septentrional de la ciudad podría haber destacado por su carácter de teatro ritual asociado a los boatos funerarios de los dinastas y a los constructos simblicos relacionados con las ideas de sacricio, muerte y resurrección.
其他摘要：This text explains the evidences about the singularity of the town named Santa María la Redonda – it means, the ancient Cuepopan- Tlaquechiuhca square- into the prehispanic cultural development of the Mexico City. It tooks special emphasis in the crucial importance that this place had in the war between Tenochtitlan and Tlatlelolco, both mexica´s centers, at 1469-1473. After the tenochca´s victory, this north town of the city maybe considered like a ritual theater associated to the funeral ceremonies of the dynasties, and to the symbolic con structs relacionated with the sacrice, death, and resurrection ideas.
