摘要：El objetivo de este texto es explorar y discutir acerca del modo en que, tanto el cine industrial como el cine de autor realizado en México, Luis Buñuel nos introduce en la fabricación de nuevas representaciones fílmicas de la pobreza. Para ello se analizarán las cintas El gran calavera (1949), Los olvidados (1950), El Bruto (1952) y Nazarín (1959). Se sostiene que estas cintas dejan entrever diferentes formas de inscripción de la pobreza que tensionan la hegemonía representacional impuesta por la época de oro del cine mexicano. Además, se reconoce el ideal del deseo como un mecanismo común en las acciones de sus protagonistas.
其他摘要：The aim of this text is to explore and discuss the way in which both the commercial films and the auteur cinema made by Luis Buñuel in Mexico, introduce us to the production of new cinematic representations of poverty. In order to do this, the films El gran calavera (1949), Los olvidados (1950), El Bruto (1952) and Nazarín (1959) will be analyzed. It is argued that these films suggest diferent ways in which poverty is inscribed that put the hegemonic representation imposed by the golden age of Mexican cinema under tension. Moreover, the ideal of desire is recognized as a common mechanism in the actions of its protagonists.
