摘要：La Geograf ía Econó mica Evolutiva ha sido u n tema mu y prom etedor en el des arrollo de nue vas teor ías, p udiendo ser considerada como una importante h erram ienta explicativa en la interpreta ción de l a din ámica y la evolu ción de los destinos turísticos. El foco principal d e la Geografía Econó mica Evolutiva está e n estud iar las transforma cion es espacia les promovidas por las rela cion es econ ómicas a través d e tr es pilares centrale s: path dependence, complexity theory y generalised darwinism. Así , el objetivo de este artículo es anali zar la competitividad del destino turístico Curitiba (Paraná - Brasil ) b ajo la teor ía d e l a Geograf ía Econó mica Evolutiva. La metodolog ía d e investigación utilizada es el aborda je cualitativ o y el estud io de caso sobre Curitiba, desarrollado en cuatro etapas: investigación bibliográfica y documental, relevam iento de da tos, caracteriza ción de los fa ctores externos, internos y la demanda, y análisis de los dat os de Curitiba en los pilares d e l a Geograf ía Econó mica Evolutiva . Como resultado principa l se estableció que la literatura internacional ya recon oce la importa ncia d e la Geografía Econó mica Evolutiva en rel aci ón con l os estud ios de turismo. Asimismo se puede afirmar que la ci udad de Curitiba se transform ó a través de l os a ños en un destino turístico y presenta una din ámica evolutiva en la cual se observa gestión , plan ificación urban a y eventos , que h an hecho que la ci udad se torne más competitiva.
其他摘要：Evolutionary Dynamics of Tourist Destination Curitiba – Paraná – Brazil. The Evolutionary Economic Geography has been a very promising theme in the development of new theories and can be considered as an important explanatory tool in the interpretation of the dynamics and evolution of tourist destinations. The main focus of Evolutionary Economic Geography is to analyse spatial transformations promoted b y economic relations through three central pillars: path dep endence, complexity theory and generalised d ar winism. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the competitiveness of the tourist destination Curitiba - Paraná (BR) under the theory of E volutionary Economic Geography. The methodology used in this paper was a qualitative approach with a case study of Cur itiba, developed in four stages: bibliographical and documentary research, data collection, characterization of external and internal factors and demand, data analysis of Curitiba under the pillars Evolutionary Economic Geography. The international literat ure already recognizes the importance of Evolutionary Economic Geography related to tourism studies. Finally, the paper concludes through the data analysis o f Curitiba that the city has presented a dynamic evolution as a tourist destination showing facts as management, tourism and urban planning and events transforming the city into a competitive destination.
