摘要：En Cuba, son todavía escasas lasinvestigaciones cualitativas en el contextode las bibliotecas públicas. A propósito,el grupo de investigación Bibliotecapública y comunidad dirige su atenciónal desarrollo de las investigacionescualitativas de carácter transformador.Los resultados de dos de sus másrecientes investigaciones se centranen los discursos de los participantes.Se trata de los discursos de lostrabajadores de las bibliotecas públicasmunicipales de La Lisa y Habana delE st e y algunos miembros de suscomunidades. Los discursos giran entorno a las funciones de esas bibliotecas,sus servicios y actividades con suscomunidades. También, permiten advertirla importancia de la actuación de esasinstituciones sociales. Los métodos y lastécnicas de investigación son el análisisdel discurso y el análisis de contenido,y la entrevista en profundidad, los gruposde discusión, la observación participantey el mapeo social.
其他摘要：In Cuba, there is little qualitative researchin the context of public libraries.Incidentally, the research group PublicLibrary and community turns its attentionto the development of transformativequalitative research. The result of two ofhis most recent research focuses on thediscourses of the participants. These arethe discourses of workers of municipalpublic libraries of «La Lisa» and «Habanadel Este» and members of theircommunities. The discourses revolvearound the functions of these libraries,services and activities in theircommunities. Also, allow to notice theimportance of the performance of thesesocial institutions. The methods andtechniques of research are discourseanalysis and content analysis, and indepthinterviews, focus groups,participant observation and socialmapping.
