摘要：Este artículo tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre las razones que han dificultado que los estudiantes de pregrado logren una formación investigativa pertinente; dificultad evidenciada en que estos estudiantes, en las instituciones de educación s uperior (IES), no están adquiriendo las competencias investigativas necesarias. Dichas razones están vinculadas a la evolución de la universidad y a la conceptualización y tipos de investigación que se manejan. La construcción de este escrito se realizó me diante una revisión de documentos publicados en bases de datos o revistas indexadas, memorias, normativas y páginas web. Los criterios de selección de los textos fueron su calidad y pertinencia y el per í odo de revisión va del año 1991 al 2014. En síntesis, se establece que los inconvenientes en la formación investigativa persisten debido a la marcada herencia del modelo napoleónico, cuyas estructuras han sido difíciles de remover por el Estado, las IES y los mismos docentes.
其他摘要：The objective of this article is to reflect on the reasons that make difficult for the Colombian university students to achieve a proper education on rese arch. This difficulties become evident because these university students are not acquiring the required competencies for research. Some causes are linked to the evolution of universities and to the conceptualization and types of research they manage. This article has been written based on a review of documents published in databases or indexed journals, proceedings, standards and web pages. The quality of texts, as well as their relevancy and the time period 1991 - 2014 were used as selection criteria. In con clusion, is established that the difficulties in research education are still present because of the marked influence of Napoleonic heritage, which structures have been difficult to remove by the government, the universities and by the teachers themselves.
