摘要：Nosso objetivo neste artigo foi analisar os efeitos de sentidos possíveis presentes no discurso jornalístico sobre o discurso da indústria da morte . Para tanto, emprega mos como teoria e método a Análise de Discurso francesa, na p erspectiva de Michel de Pêcheux, analisando uma vídeo - reportagem sobre a Funexpo , uma Feira de Negócios do setor funerário. C hegamos aos seguintes achados: i) a indústria da morte põe em funcionamento a busca pela naturaliza ção do sentido da morte; ii) aquilo que é interditado enunciar sobre a morte, em sociedade, de modo geral, é permitido no ambiente restrito de condições de produção do discurso da indústria da morte , em que pese as contradições ; iii) o discurso jornalístico sobre a morte tramita num continuum en tre respeito e banalização do discurso , porém admitindo o funcionamento da ironia e do humor ; iv) a enunciação sobre a vida, a alegria e o humor, no contexto de uma feira de negócios da morte, revela que existem sentidos outros possíveis para a morte; e v) o sentido da morte na sociedade capitalista pode passa r por um processo de ressignificação; vi) o consumo, o fetiche e a ostentação são efeitos possíveis de serem admitidos na indústria da morte , como no vas formas de se fazer o mesmo .
其他摘要：Our goal in this study was to analyze the effects of possible meanings present on the journalistic discourse about the discourse of the death industry. Therefore, we use the French Discourse Analysis, in a Michel Pêcheux perspective, to examine a video rep ort about Funexpo, a business fair of the funeral industry. We come to the following findings: i) the death industry pursue the naturalization of the meaning of death; ii) what is forbidden spell of death in society, in general, is allowed in the restricted environment of speech production conditions of the industry of death, despite the contradictions; iii) the journalistic discourse about death involves a continuum betwee n respect and trivialization of speech, including even irony and humor; iv) the enunciation about life, joy and humor, in the context of a death business fair reveals that there are other possible ways to face death; and v) the meaning of death in capital ist society can undergo a reframing process; vi) consumption, fetish and ostentation are possible effects of being admitted in the death industry, as new ways of doing the same.
