摘要：Objetivo: Analizar las manifestaciones del síndrome de burnout en enfermeras. Métodos: E studio correlacional realizado en una muestra de 47 enfermeras de la ciudad de Arequipa. S e usó el Inventario de Burnout de Maslach para profesiones de servicios humanos y pruebas estadísticas para establecer las correlaciones y comparaciones entre variables. Resultados: L os resultados ind ican que 21,3 % de enfermeras presentó niveles severos de agotamiento emocional y baja realización personal, y que el 29,8 % tuvo altos niveles de despersonalización. Las correlaciones indicaron que el síndrome de burnout, el agotamiento emocional y la des personalización se relacionan positivamente (p<0,01). El análisis de varianza demostró que existen diferencias significativas en la puntuación global del síndrom e según el tiempo de servicio. Conclusiones: L as enfermeras presentan niveles considerables de síndrome de burnout sobre todo aquellas que tienen mayor tiempo de servicio o que llevan laborando menos de cinco años.
其他摘要：Objective: To analyze the symptoms of the burnout syndrome in nurses . Methods : Correlational study conducted in a sample of 47 nurses from Arequipa city. Maslach ́s Burnout Inventory for human service professions and statistical tests for correlations and comparisons of variables were used. Results : In the group, 21.3 % of female nurses presented with severe emotional exhaustion and low personal performance indexes whereas 29.8 % had high level of depersonalization. The correlations indicated that the burnout syndrome, the emotional exhaustion and depersona lization were all positively related (p< 0.01). Additionally, the variance analysis showed significant differences in the global scoring of the syndrome depending on the number of years worked at the service. Conclusions : The studied nurses present high le vels of burnout syndrome and mainly those who have been working longer at the service or who have been working less than five years.
