摘要：Este artigo tem por objetivo discutir aspectos da prática clínica em Psicologia, dirigida à reabilitação de trabalhadores. Compreende um estudo de caso sobre a intervenção dirigida a uma trabalhadora que sofreu mutilações em um acidente do trabalho. Os resultados indicaram que a prática clínica possibilitou a elaboração do luto frente às perdas funcionais e os prejuízos à imagem corporal, além de propiciar o acolhimento a diversidade de sentimentos ligados ao acidente. Os aspectos institucionais que inicialmente não se apresentavam integrados à compreensão do acidente foram gradativamente posicionados como determinantes deste evento. Assim, foi possível compreender aspectos da organização do trabalho na ocorrência do acidente. Conclui-se que a intervenção propiciou a compreensão dos sentidos presentes no acidente do trabalho e dos elementos constitutivos do risco na prática laboral.
其他摘要：This study discusses the aspects of clinical practice in psychology focused on workers’ rehabilitation. A case study was undertaken concerning an intervention oriented toward a worker who was a victim of mutilation during an occupational accident. The results indicate that clinical practice permits the elaboration of mourning in response to functional losses and impaired body image, besides favoring the welcoming of a range of feelings linked to the accident. The institutional aspects that initially were not integrated into the understanding of the accident gradually gained a determining role in this event. Thus, the aspects of work organization could be understood from the occurrence of the accident. In conclusion, the intervention furthered the understanding of the meanings present in the occupational accident and constituent elements of the risk present in the work practice.
