摘要：O bullying é um problema comum na interação de pares e pode implicar em diferentes prejuízos ao longo do desenvolvimento das crianças vítimas e agressoras. Pesquisas recentes indicam alta frequência da prática do bullying nas escolas brasileiras, porém ainda são escassos os estudos que compreendam este fenômeno a partir de uma perspectiva multifatorial. O presente artigo tem por objetivo apresentar o conceito do bullying e mostrar a importância de considerar as variáveis do contexto familiar para sua compreensão. Destaca-se a necessidade de incluir os pais das crianças como participantes nas pesquisas empíricas sobre o bullying escolar e a importância da sua participação tanto na avaliação como na prevenção deste problema. Por fim, discute-se a inclusão dos pais nas estratégias de intervenção diante do bullying , com vista à redução dos fatores de risco presentes no ambiente familiar e dos seus prejuízos para o desenvolvimento socioemocional das crianças.
其他摘要：Bullying is a common problem in the peer interaction and may result in several difficulties throughout the development of both the victims and aggressors. Recent researches point to the high prevalence of bullying in Brazilian schools. However, studies aiming to understand this phenomenon from a multifactorial perspective are scarce. This article aims to introduce the concept of bullying, highlighting the importance of including family context variables for its comprehension. It is emphasized the need of including the children ́s parents as participants in empirical research on school bullying and the importance of their participation in both assessing and preventing this problem. Finally, the article discusses the inclusion of children ́s parents in intervention strategies against bullying aiming to reduce the risk factors in the familiar environment and its harm to the children ́s socioemotional development.
