摘要：Este artículo indaga el retorno de los migrantes laborales en una comunidad cafetalera de las Altas Montañas de Veracruz. Primero realiza un repaso crítico de las diferentes teorías migratorias y su interpretación del fenómeno del retorno, y se resalta la necesidad de una perspectiva multifactorial que abarque elementos económicos, políticos, sociales y psicoemocionales. También analiza los resultados de una investigación sobre migrantes retornados, focalizando las pautas migratorias, la movilidad ocupacional y geográfica, los motivos de su regreso y su aportación en remesas y ahorros, para vislumbrar el potencial de arraigo en su lugar de origen. Concluyendo con la probable reemigración de los retornados.
其他摘要：This article explores the return of labor migrants in a study of a coffee-growing community in the High Mountains of Veracruz. It critically reviews the different migratory theories and their interpretation of the phenomenon of return and underlines the need to take a multi-factorial perspective involving economic, political, social, and psycho-emotional elements. It also analyzes the results of research with returned migrants, focusing on migratory patterns, occupational and geographic mobility, the reasons for their return, and their contribution in remittances and savings, to visualize the potential for their remaining in their place of origin. It concludes with their probable re-emigration.
