摘要：En ausencia de una justificación de la intervención uruguaya en la Guerra del Paraguay, fue un representante de los opositores a la misma, Luis A. de Herrera, quien produjo los primeros estudios significativos. Estos estudios, publicados entre 1908 y 1952, atribuyeron las causas de la gue rra a la previa invasión de Uruguay por el Gral. Venancio Flores, con apoyo de Argentina y Brasil, y al enfrentamiento estructural entre Buenos Aires y las provincias argentinas, del cual la campaña contra Paraguay habría sido una instancia más. A partir d e mediados del siglo XX, el influyente periódico Marcha de Montevideo adhirió a la interpretación de Herrera y la popularizó — aunque mediada por las t esis y teorías de otros autores — e ntre el público lector uruguayo . Desde entonces, ésta ha sido la interpret ación dominante en Uruguay sobre los orígenes de la Guerra de la Triple Alianza.
其他摘要：Sin ce there was no justifying reason for the intervention of Uruguay against Paraguay, it was one of the opponents to the war, Luis A. de Herrera, who published the first important studies on the conflict. These studies, published between 1908 and 1952, attri buted the invasion of Uruguay by General Venancio Flores, coupled to the structural conflict between Buenos Aires and the Argentine Provinces as the causes of war. He received the support of Argentina and Brazil but the campaign against Paraguay was just o ne more conflict. The highly influential Montevideu weekly magazine Marcha supported Herrera ́s interpretation as from the 1950s and disseminated the version among the Uruguayan public. However, the interpretation was also mediated by several theses and the ories by different authors. It has been Uruguay ́s dominant interpretation on the origins of the War of the Triple Alliance ever since.
