摘要：Neste artigo, objetivamos discutir o conceito de mediação na perspectiva da Psicologia Histórico-Cultural, considerando-o como um processo socialmente constituído, que promove a relação do homem com o mundo social e material. Para isso, destacamos alguns elementos fundamentais no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, como os conceitos de instrumento, sujeito e objeto, com o objetivo de explicitar o papel da mediação neste processo. Dessa forma, concluímos que a qualidade da mediação propiciada à criança interfere diretamente no desenvolvimento das suas funções psicológicas superiores, ressaltando o caráter social do desenvolvimento humano, especificamente nas aprendizagens significativas que ocorrem nas situações de ensino escolar.
其他摘要：This article makes some considerations of the concept of mediation in the historical-cultural psychology, considering the mediation as a social process that favors the relationship between man and the world. Therefore, we highlight some key elements in the process of teaching and learning, as the instrument, the subject and object. That why, we objectify to explain the role of mediation in this process. Focusing on the historical-cultural psychology for his excellent approach to the issue that we are considering. Taking into account their relationship with other important aspects that can help the development of children at school age.
