摘要：O propósito do presente estudo foi examinar as relações simultâneas entre as preferências e perceções do comportamento do treinador e a satisfação com a liderança. O estudo aplicou análise de equações estruturais para testar a hipótese da congruência preconizado pelo Modelo Multidimensional da Liderança (Chelladurai, 2007) considerando um modelo de mediação com variáveis latentes. Participaram neste est udo 213 futebolistas do género masculino com idades compreendidas entre os 18 e os 34 anos ( M = 22.03, DP = 3.45). Os resultados demonstraram que a preferência e perceção dos comportamentos democrático, autocráticos e de suporte social do treinador, têm um papel importante na determinação das variáveis da satisfação dos futebolistas com a liderança. Em geral, os resultados do presente estudo parecem contribuir para o conhecimento da relação treinador - atleta, evidenciando o papel mediador das perceções dos c omportamentos de liderança do treinador.
其他摘要：The purpose of the present study is to investigate the simultaneous relationships among preferred and perceived coaching behaviour, and their satisfaction with leadership. The study employed structural equation modeling analysis to test the congruence hypothesis deri ved from the Multidimensional Model of Leadership (Chelladurai, 2007), estimating mediation effects in latent variable model. The sample included 213 football players from men’s senior squads aged between 18 and 34 ( M = 22.03, DP = 3.45). The results indicated that there are three particular leadership behaviours, the democratic behaviour, the autocratic behaviour, and the social support, which play a major role to determine football players’ satisfaction. In general, the results of this study seem to broaden the knowledge concerning the relationship between coach - athlete, highlighting the mediating role of perceptions related to coach behaviours.
