摘要：El objetivo de este estudio es describir el cambio en el nivel de las jefaturas femeninas de los ho- gares de Cali, Colombia y las características de las jefas de hogar entre los distintos grupos socio raciales a finales del periodo colonial. Para tal fin, se utilizaron los padrones de población de Cali de 1797 y 1807. Los resultados revelaron que las jefaturas femeninas eran predominantes entre los grupos de ascendencia negra, y muy altas entre los blancos y los nobles. Entre 1797 y 1807, las jefa- turas se incrementaron y su aumento varió según el grupo socio racial.
其他摘要：The objective of this study is to describe the changes of female headship in Cali, Colombia and of the characteristics of female heads of household among different socio-racial groups at the end of the colonial era. For this purpose, we used population registers of 1797 and 1807. The results re- vealed that female headship was predominant among populations of African origin and very high among whites and those of noble origin. Between 1797 and 1807, female headship increased and its growth varied by socio racial group.
