摘要：Este artículo analiza los proyectos culturales llevados a cabo por la Biblioteca Nacional de Chile desde 1900 hasta 1925. A partir de publicaciones, informes, estadísticas, archivos, cartas y leyes se examinan los discursos e ideas que rediseñaron sus objetivos. La hipótesis sostiene que la Biblioteca Nacional fue una herramienta de inclusión social y apoyo educacional a través de la difusión de la cultura, así como el símbolo de una proyección internacional de la cultura chilena a través de las redes de intercambio que produjo con otras bibliotecas de importancia mundial.
其他摘要：This article analyzes the cultural projects conducted by the Chilean National Library from 1900 to 1925. Using publications, reports, statistics, archives, letters and laws we examine the discourses and ideas that redesigned its objectives. The hypothesis holds that the National Library was a tool for social inclusion and educational support through the dissemination of culture, as well as the symbol of an international projection of Chilean culture through the exchange networks that were made with other libraries of global importance.
